Every family figures out sleep in their own way. Maybe you’ve picked an approach after lots of research, or maybe you just went with whatever worked because, let’s be real—when you’re exhausted in the middle of the night, who has the energy to think clearly?

No matter how you got here, one thing’s for sure, you know how important sleep is for your little one and your whole family.

I'm not the kind of sleep coach who tells you to co-sleep or go independent sleep with your baby or toddler.

Have you ever heard the saying, "sleep like a baby?" Well, you know how far from the truth this is when it comes to your baby's sleep!

You've dutifully rocked, carried, walked around, fed, nursed, used 'sarong' swing, gave pacifier and bounced on the yoga ball to get your little one to sleep for months.

But there comes a point where you realize that all those strategies have to stop. Because your little one is growing and going to sleep is something they're truly capable of doing on their own with minimal help from you.

My mission is to help you with the knowledge and confidence using the tools and support for lasting sleep success.

AS A HOLISTIC SLEEP COACH,

Empathy: I understand the emotional toll that sleep challenges can take on a family. That’s why empathy is at the heart of everything I do. You are not alone on this journey.

Responsive: Responding lovingly and promptly to your child’s needs is the key to secure attachment and trust-building between you and your child. When trust is established, your child feels safe and secure, no matter what changes are being made to how they go to sleep.

Holistic Approach: True wellness is about more than just physical rest - it's also about considering any underlying health problems, mental health, understanding family dynamics, and recognizing individual temperaments.

Empowerment: Knowledge is power. My aim is to equip you with practical tools and insights so you can confidently support your child's sleep needs now and in the future.

I will not ask you to leave your baby to cry it out or use any methods that are not responsive to your child's needs.
I understand that your child's crying can feel scary, upsetting and leave you feeling very guilty. Maybe you feel that your child thinks you have abandoned them. Maybe you think they will be upset with you or that they are being harmed.

I want to be fully honest with you: yes, there will likely be crying involved when you’re working on helping your child sleep, but my strategies are never going to involve letting your baby or toddler cry indefinitely, inconsolably, and without guidance and support from you.

I'm All About...

How did I get here?

Like any new mother, I wanted to be the perfect mama who was doing all the right things to raise my little ones.

With my first daughter, she was what I would call an easy going baby. Sleep wasn't a big deal and she slept through on her own when she was close to 2 years old.

That wasn't the case with my second born. We co-slept since she was born and I nursed her to sleep at bedtime and all in-between night wakings until she was 16 months old. By this phase, I was the human pacifier.

While it's lovely in principle to be the one who was providing her comfort throughout the night and that I didn't have to get up and bounce or rock her when she woke up in the middle of the night, the price I paid for was not having a proper full night sleep for almost a year and a half.

I began to feel touched out, had backaches, and was falling sick very often due to a weakened immune system from the lack of proper sleep.

Here's how it all started...

I needed sleep so badly, but had no idea how to wean her off. Until...

I did my research to find answers on how to get my baby to sleep without waking up to nurse so frequently.

To my dismay, most articles would suggest to use the cry it out or Ferber method. I tried to find a no-cry solution but there was none.

I tried to look for a baby sleep expert locally, something like an IBCLC but there was none. Pediatricians couldn't even give me any practical advice.

Finally, I found a popular sleep training program online, and out of desperation, I purchased their e-book and put it to work.

And it worked! I couldn't believe how fast it was. 4 nights in, and my toddler started sleeping through the night.

My expertise

I became a child sleep consultant because I know firsthand how exhausting and overwhelming sleepless nights can be.

As a mama of three, I deeply understand the emotional toll of struggling to get your little one the rest they need. That’s what drives me to support families on their sleep journey.

My professional journey started in 2013 when I became Malaysia’s first holistic baby and toddler sleep consultant, certified through the International Parenting and Health Institute.

Since then, I’ve continued to expand my knowledge, completing trainings like Hand in Hand’s Foundations Course for Professionals and the Aware Parenting Instructor's Training with Marion Rose.

In 2023, I joined Sleepy Bubba Singapore as a toddler sleep expert, bringing my passion for gentle, responsive sleep support to even more families.
